An evening walk… think pink!
Recent travels...
A quick trip to America…
It was cold upon our arrival
and soon it snowed
Rinpoche had his eyes checked; all is well
we can see for ourselves
The snow melted in South Orange
and then
It really really snowed!!!
I visited my brother
who taught me Iyengar Yoga
I only spent a moment in America, not long enough to see dear friends and family. My apologies to all; I had to be back in India before the expiry of my visa at the end of March!
I returned to the heat of the south where Krishna waters the thirsty plants
and we try not to move too much
except to fetch water
or play cricket
The trees stand tall
or try to
George has a new grandson, and guess what he’s called...
George!!!
A delegation of Marthoma Syrian Christians presented me with a Tibetan Bible
and the trees still dance delightfully outside my window
I say my prayers
and enjoy Suresh’s momos.
All is well.
Samsara...
Hong Kong
Some serious and others less so
Everyone intent!
and on to Delhi where samsara exhibits itself playfully
Krishna and Radha flirt
and Russian devotees convert
where livin is easy, even in winter
though we wear a coat
and a roof over our head helps
but not essential
and life goes rolling along
with a tea break every now and then
Life goes on…
Hello from Police Headquarters where I submitted my application for a visa extension
The inspector kindly poses with his new phone
I’ve been told to carry on as abbot of Rato… these are some of our Rato monks...
and this is where I live
and my view
Lingappa who drives
and Suresh who cooks
and who’s father is over 100
And Ling Rinpoche
We leave…
and stop in Bangapour to visit Abdul, master builder who constructed Rato Dratsang
and his family
And now in Hong Kong where life continues
