Another whirl around the world... Nicholas Vreeland November 8, 2016 to meet Mila, my grand niece with grandpa and parents to attend my god daughter Carolina’s wedding to Christian, blessed by a Zen wizard and then to Taipei to attend the opening of the new Denba Ji Center where Rinpoche taught A visit to Dr. Perng and Dr. Anna Li at the Veterans’ General Hospital to say thank you And to see Dr. Li who photographs his assistant with Rinpoche as a patient looks on Photography is a big thing in Taiwan! And then to southern Taiwan Where we visit the Yangchen School of Music and eat before returning to India, where we drive across the country to reach Rato Dratsang in time to do leg exercises on the roof My thanks to Basvaraj, the telephone line’s man who got my internet connection working again. A quick trip around and about... Nicholas Vreeland September 18, 2016 First to Rougemont to talk about photography and Buddhism and life and listen to Bach in the Rougemont church and enjoy a gastronomic extravaganza in the mountains. And then a visit to Savoie and to the grave of dear Corinna to whom I owe SO much!!! On to Northern Ireland, to stay in Castle Ward Junior with cousin Rachel and Nick and visit this little fellow as well as my father, who seems in wonderful shape with Sandra, his new lady. Much work going on at Castle Ward Junior. Ireland is very beautiful! And on to New Jersey where Ling Rinpoche visited Khyongla Rinpoche’s home and blessed our Kunkhyab Thardo Ling Retreat Center. And now back in India, enjoying the end of monsoon as I get over my jetlag...
