Traffic on the way to Hubli
And then a tiny tea
and a warm welcome
and then home
Our Teak plantation
and bodhi tree
our new choera pavilion all wrapped up
and presided over by the raven
a visit from Fakirappa
and then a momo party
where everyone goes to work
and all hope to share
they’ve come out very well
salivatingly well
some eat faster
than others
and then we clean up
to meet Mila, my grand niece with grandpa and parents
to attend my god daughter Carolina’s wedding to Christian, blessed by a Zen wizard
and then to Taipei to attend the opening of the new Denba Ji Center
where Rinpoche taught
A visit to Dr. Perng and Dr. Anna Li at the Veterans’ General Hospital to say thank you
And to see Dr. Li who photographs his assistant with Rinpoche as a patient looks on
Photography is a big thing in Taiwan!
And then to southern Taiwan
Where we visit the Yangchen School of Music
and eat
before returning to India, where we drive across the country
to reach Rato Dratsang
in time to do leg exercises on the roof
My thanks to Basvaraj, the telephone line’s man who got my internet connection working again.
Happy Election Day to all
First to Rougemont to talk about photography and Buddhism and life
and listen to Bach in the Rougemont church
and enjoy a gastronomic extravaganza in the mountains.
And then a visit to Savoie and to the grave of dear Corinna to whom I owe SO much!!!
On to Northern Ireland, to stay in Castle Ward Junior
with cousin Rachel and Nick
and visit this little fellow
as well as my father, who seems in wonderful shape
with Sandra, his new lady.
Much work going on at Castle Ward Junior.
Ireland is very beautiful!
And on to New Jersey where Ling Rinpoche visited Khyongla Rinpoche’s home
and blessed our Kunkhyab Thardo Ling Retreat Center.
And now back in India, enjoying the end of monsoon as I get over my jetlag...
