Our journey begins in Ranchi, capital of the new state of Jharkhand
with lovely old trees preserved along the way
and international restaurants
where life is in full flow
As His Holiness the Dalai Lama is teaching
yes, there are toilets!!!
These two fellows sold me some reading glasses
and parking places where one can rest
All move at their own pace
though most keep on moving
Madame waits under the parasol as her knives are sharpened
An elegant home in Shimoga
with its welcoming designs
the shopkeeper from Mundgod happy to say Tashi Delek as his assistant dusts the merchandise
Monsieur wears his long dress to shop
And prayers on the way to Sera
where I’ve been interviewed by the Taipei Times' Yuanting Yang and photographed by Chiaming Chang
where trees need trimming
Then to Chiayi to visit Doctor Li and check on knee
And on to Kaohsiung to teach and be merry
before some golf with pro
in who’s home we had a feast!
some things less recognizable than others
and nature does its string thing
Wishing you all a happy Thanksgiving
With so munch thanks to all for all your giving!!
